MOTORCYCLE POKER RUN/CAR SHOW

EVENT OVERVIEW:

“On the Wings of Angels” Motorcycle Poker Run and Car Show helps raise awareness for Angel Eyes. It is a great way for families, relatives, friends and the Colorado community to participate in this wonderful event which starts and ends at Front Range Inn at 7779 Morison Road in Lakewood.

The Motorcycle Poker Run is through some of Colorado’s fantastic scenery. Riders will collect poker cards throughout the ride to compete for the winning poker hand. Included in their entry, participants receive a breakfast burrito, swag bag and door prize ticket.

The Car Show is sponsored by Saints & Sinners Car Club. Car Show participants will receive a door prize ticket, drink ticket and are entered into different categories for prizes.

The Motorcycle Poker Run/Car Show represents the “heart and soul” of Angel Eyes- giving comfort and providing hope to anyone who has been impacted by the unexpected death of an infant or toddler, including miscarriage and stillbirth loss. This is a great opportunity for the community to show their support and keep child loss awareness at the forefront in the community.

MEDIA RELATIONS:

· Angel Eyes continues to work to establish collaborative relationships with major media outlets in Denver, including, but not limited to, news channels, radio stations, newspapers and local magazines.

· In addition to obtaining media coverage for the “On the Wings of Angels” Motorcycle Poker Run/Car Show, it is important to keep the education and awareness information about sudden, unexpected infant and child deaths at the forefront of the Colorado community. We not only seek media for coverage of the event, but also coverage regarding the cause of the event-“child loss grief support.”
